Mysticism and YouTube Gurus - A Revisit
YouTube gurus are are of course still a thing platform. And how many are there exactly?
Quite a few more now than last time we looked. A few old-schoolers are still around, Adyashanti, Eckhart Tolle, Nithyananda, they don't post as much anymore. And now they also have to compete with the next generation and fresh faces.
Meet Elizabeth April. Starseeds are just adorable. Apparently, she was the one who brought all the Starseeds to this planet. Or all her viewers who believe they are from space, that is. But sometimes they tend to get a little angry when she reminds them of their cosmic 'contract'. They don't really want to be led by anyone.Even when they use those taglines and thumbnails to attract views, they do not want to discuss it scientifically. It is more about the atmosphere of the creator/video and the teachings they feel they get from the experience. Even L.Ron Hubbard would be impressed by some of the scifi stories (not really). But Elizabeth claims to have 'channelled' all her knowledge, and will only preach about that which she gets from the Galactic Federation,
The Hare Krishna is continuing the work of Srila Prabhupada on Krshna TV channel. And are putting the finishing touches on their first mega temple.
Sadhguru is on a different trip.
Recently he doing his trip across America on his motorcycle. Sadhguru has many interesting videos and conversations with people from different walks of life.
Nithyananda has been making some more remixes. I did see a stream where he was doing it live, sitting like that for a pretty long time. Sometimes they will play his fan-made music for him. I wonder what happened to his golden throne. And what's the deal with the temple he built in Los Angeles?
I guess we will have to stay tuned and see what all these temples and things will amount to. I just wonder why they don't get together more often (ever) and figure things out? To finally solve all these cosmic and spiritual mysteries.
