The Brave Browser is Everyone's New Favorite

I've been testing the Brave browser for a couple of weeks now and I have to say I'm
impressed with the speed and performance.

Brave is a Chromium based browser that comes with advanced security features, built-in Adblocker and privacy features, a Tor browser privacy mode, and its own digital currency.

Getting started, the interface and setting-up the browser feels very much like Google Chrome.
I found my favorite extensions in the Marketplace, got my bookmarks imported, and was ready to go in a few minutes with the built-in step-by-step tutorial.

A nice looking default startpage shows some statistics of how many ads and trackers have been blocked, https upgrades, and estimated time saved. (see image above).

What is BAT - The Basic Attention Token?

BAT is a token for supporting creatives, and it is also a token for your time.
While advertisements across the web are disabled in the browser, you can choose to enable ads in the Brave Rewards tab and earn some BAT tokens; an ethereum based digital currency created by Brave Software.
Brave has a built in wallet for storing your BAT, and you can use it to tip your favorite content creators.
The BAT token can also be traded on certain cryptocurrency exhanges, gifted to other users, or anything the community wants to do with it, really.

The rise of the Brave browser is coming at an interesting time when many creatives are looking for a de-centralized social platform and ways of monetizing their content. BAT, currently valued at $0.21, has seen an increase of 21% since it's creation, and has remained somewhat stable through the altcoin bubble collapse. I think BAT and Brave is here to stay.

I'll get a few tokens if you use my link.
There's also a tip button on Twitter and YouTube, and you can get one as well by signing up as a Brave Creative.
