Skepticism and Science vs Faith and Religion.
The debate between believers and skeptics has been going on since early history, but now that we're in a new era of free speech, scientific advancement, and reason, it has been getting more intense than ever.
The most clever and outspoken from both sides have bumped heads and some have become world known.
Thanks to digital mediums such as Youtube, their debates and symposiums are often available to the whole world.
The Great Playlist:
A large portion of the intellectual debates between thinkers today takes place on Youtube, between Youtubers, many of whom have become famous (or almost famous) by sharing their thoughts or debates on video.
Some of my favorites include AronRa, Thunderf00t, and The Amazing Atheist, arguing for reason over faith.
But I'll start out the playlist with some clips that did not originate on Youtube. You'll see James Randi, the famous skeptic who created the Million Dollar Challenge - one million dollars for anyone who can demonstrate supernatural powers of any kind.
And also Richard Dawkins, an author who also appears on Youtube a lot. And several other people you may recognize.
