The Hobbit - An unexpected journey

Batman: The Dark Knight Rises
This is the final instalment of Christopher Nolan’s take on the Batman films. We’ll meet Bane and Cat Woman in this one and it promises to be an explosion of Hollywood cinema magic. Expect some dark character progressions and some surprising twists, but prepare to enjoy every second of it.


The Bourne Legacy
The next film of the Bourne selection, this one doesn’t actually feature Matt Damon – but is being as eagerly anticipated as the previous ones that did. You’ll love this film if you enjoy a bit of espionage, action and fighting – as that’s what the Bourne films are all about.

American Reunion
For all of us who grew up in the 80s and 90s, you’ll definitely remember the American Pie trilogy. Full of teenage mistakes, sex, booze and banter, you’ll be happy to know the fun isn’t over just yet! The original cast have all reunited for this 10- years -later take on the gang of friends. Prepare to reminisce and laugh!


The Amazing Spider-Man
Another take on the classic comic book superhero, this film has breathed a new lease of life on the classic character. The cast is fresh and young and full of some of the most promising actors in Hollywood at the moment. Go and watch it if you enjoy the superhero genre, or if you want to watch some great special effects and action sequences.


The Twilight Saga – Breaking Dawn (Part 2)
Some people may not be interested in this movie, but those of you who have followed the Twilight movies will be eagerly anticipating this film. Expect the cinema to be full of gushing teenage girls – but let it put you off. This should be a great climax to plot lines and the characters’ lives.

Snow White and the Huntsman
A film starring Kristen Stewart (the one from twilight) this is a dark take on the Snow White tale. Don’t expect seven dwarves or Disney songs though, this is an adaption of The Grimm Brothers’ tale.


Men in Black III
If you loved the original Men in Black films, then you’re in for a treat with this one! The reason it’s taken them so long to release this is that they wanted make sure the script was perfect, and the time has finally come. Expect all the laughter and aliens of the original two, with the same great cast!


Wanderlust
A fantastic observational film about two busy, hectic people who give it all up for a life of travelling. It stars the beautiful and hilarious Jennifer Aniston and the comic genius, Paul Rudd.


The Great Gatsby
This film, based on the classic tale and the brilliant literary novel, this is sure to be an instant classic. Not only is the cast absolutely fantastic (Leo DiCaprio is starring as the main role alongside Carey Mulligan) but the director is the artsy and glamorous Baz Luhrmann. Except some seriously awesome cinema.
