Is augmented reality the future for gadgets?

Augmented reality is the reality of the future. What is augmented reality? Augmented reality is when you view reality thru a device that gives you information abut what you see. Take for example Google Earth. When you zoom in to a popular town in google earth you'll see highlighted information about the shops and businesses around. That is augmented reality.


In the future we will be able to have glasses that display information about the things and people we are looking at. How awesome is that?
