Video Creators Seeking Alternatives to YouTube

Demonetization has been a hot topic on YouTube, and is the dread of all content creators.
YouTubers relying on advertiser revenue can easily find their videos 'demonetized', which means they're unable to serve advertisement.  In 2012 YouTube rolled out an algorithm that checks every new video and determines if it is advertiser friendly.  A video can also be demonetized weeks or years after upload. Various triggers for demonetization includes cursing, nudity, violence, offensive content and sensitive events.  Read YouTube's Advertiser Friendly Content Guidelines.

Favoritism & Controversy?
Is it all just algorithms? The community has long suspected that there is favoritism going on, where average content creators find their videos demonetized more often.
