Upcoming Film Festivals in 2017 and 2018


The 70th Cannes Film Festival just wrapped up this summer, and we now wait for what's next in 2017 and 2018.
The festivals are set to feature some innovative work from artists all across the globe

The Raindance Film Festival

20th of September - 1st of October
Get ready for the 25th annual Raindance Film Festival – a festival labeled as Europe’s leading independent film festival.  Regardless of their favourite genres each and every cinema lover is sure to see something which will delight them at the upcoming festivals. The year definitely still have a number of cinematic marvels up its sleave.

Tribeca TV Film Festival

Tribeca TV Festival is set for Sep 22-24. The Film Festival for 2017 has wrapped up and submissions are open for the 2018 film festival - Feature films, shortfilms, VR and 3D / Immersive, and Tribeca TV.

The Edingburgh International Film Festival

Started in 1947 the EIFF is one of the oldest film festivals in the world. It also happens to be the single longest running film festival in history and focuses on introducing new talent and work. Films that have premiered here in the past include: The Hurt Locker, Let the Right One In, Little Miss Sunshine, Tsotsi and An Inconvenient Truth.

LUFF (The London UK Film Focus)

Promoting and celebrating British films.

The Karlovy Vary Film Festival

Karlovy Festival will be taking place in Karlovy Vary – a town approximately 130 km west of Prague.
Each year over 180 feature films are presented here with the complete list to be announced in June.
